Challenge
The client, a chat software tool that allows customer service representatives to communicate via multiple applications (eg. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Line, Salesforce, etc) all in one space.
The current logo was seen as childish. With Zooka Creative, I was tasked to create a brand identity that would help reflect their new brand pillars and appear more as an enterprise than a small startup.

Brand Pillars
While thinking about the logo, there were key pillars we wanted to get across in the final design that the Zooka team came up with to assist the client in getting to know themselves better and for the final design to have a stronger base. These included:
Superior customer engagement.
Individual strength for collective success.
Make working together easy.
One chat for world customer engagement.
Logo and Naming Options

Logo options included a pool of names to choose from that might better fit the product. While the original was still chosen, the client still wanted to see some additional options in the mix while creating logo examples. Overall themes were hives, chats, and networks.
Final Logo

The final logo effectively embodies the brand’s core pillars of community, simplicity, and collective engagement. Inspired by the client’s vision of a bee, the design creatively stacks chat icons to form the shape of a bee and its stinger, resulting in a unique and memorable representation of connection. The chosen font, Albert Sans, compliments the sharpness of the logo and direction to feel more “enterprise”, while also maintaining approachability from the roundness.
