Challenge
The existing manual system for bankruptcy claims was slow, labor-intensive, and prone to human error. Managing thousands of data points across multiple sources and users created bottlenecks, while document collection via postal mail or insecure uploads increased processing time and risked data accuracy. The challenge was to create a more efficient, secure, and user-friendly solution that could cater to a complex, multi-user environment.
With the team at Knox Design Strategy, we designed an intuitive, secure online database that automated data uploads, notifications, and claim tracking. By studying user workflows, we created prototypes tested by actual users, ensuring the system met diverse needs. The new platform reduced manual work, minimized errors, and provided real-time status updates while enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and client responsiveness. My role was to create a UX experience that felt easily scannable, and UI that still felt aesthetically pleasing.
